By accessing or using Vecindr you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Questions? Email support@vecindr.com.

1. Description of Service

Vecindr provides neighborhood intelligence data for Puerto Rico municipalities, including aggregated crime scores, flood zone classifications, demographic indicators, utility reliability estimates, and livability scores. All data is derived from publicly available government sources.

Informational purposes only. Vecindr is a research tool. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal, financial, real estate, safety, or professional advice. Do not rely solely on Vecindr data for any significant decision without consulting qualified professionals.

2. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Vecindr aggregates data from the following government sources, which we do not control:

  • Puerto Rico Police Bureau (PRPB) NIBRS — Crime incident reports. Data may contain reporting gaps, lag of up to 12 months, and underreporting in certain municipalities.
  • FEMA National Flood Hazard Layer (NFHL) — Flood zone classifications. FEMA flood maps may not reflect current conditions, recent storms, or infrastructure changes.
  • US Census Bureau ACS 5-Year Estimates — Demographic and income data. Estimates carry margins of error and may not reflect recent population shifts.
  • Bureau of Labor Statistics LAUS — Employment and unemployment rates. Data is lagged 30–60 days from publication.
  • LUMA Energy / EIA — Power outage frequency and duration estimates. Grid performance data may vary by reporting period and zone.
  • Gobierno de Puerto Rico — Additional municipal and administrative data.

Data is updated monthly on a best-effort basis. Vecindr makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed on the platform.

3. Accounts

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • One account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent access limits is prohibited
  • You may not share, transfer, or sell your account or subscription to another person
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscriptions and Paid Reports

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Single municipality reports are tied to your account and may be downloaded for personal or professional use. Reports may not be resold, redistributed, sublicensed, or published without written permission from Vecindr.

We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price changes take effect for existing subscribers.

5. Annual Plan Trial

Annual plan subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No charge is made until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial period expires, you will not be charged. After the trial ends and the annual fee is charged, refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. There are no partial refunds for unused months on an annual plan after the trial period.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from Vecindr without written permission
  • Use Vecindr data to build a competing product or service
  • Reverse-engineer the scoring methodology for commercial purposes
  • Transmit malicious code, exploits, or automated requests that burden our infrastructure
  • Use Vecindr to make or facilitate decisions that target, discriminate against, or harm individuals

7. Intellectual Property
